The Prayerful Perspectives Journal
Christian insights on law and politics
Our Mission
"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night."
Psalm 1: 1-2
Our mission here at The Prayerful Perspectives Journal is to represent Jesus Christ in the modern and largely secular political landscape. We aim to provide biblically founded analysis of modern political issues, and to give the Christian response to such issues in a spiritually barren world. By interpreting God's law and applying it to our current society, we seek to offer clarity, wisdom, and hope to all of our readers.
The scope of our journal is broadly related to politics, giving our readers a wide range of subjects to delve into. Our method of analysis involves reflection on both history and philosophy, helping to establish context for our audience and exploring the frameworks to interpret society with a Christian lens. Our investigations of contemporary and past events, commentaries on philosophical theories, and more narrowly focused legal case studies all are synthesized to glorify God and stand for truth.
